My two 580EX units are connected with PW II's via a sync cabled hot shoe (http://flashzebra.com/wizardcables/hotshoe.shtml) and are triggered by the third PW II attached on camera. If the flash units are set by C Fn 01 = 0 then they will turn off power after maxium 15 min. and the PW's are unable to continue to work with. Else if the C Fn is switched to 1, batteries won't last so long.
Would someone give me a way to wake up the flash units remotely to make the whole lighting ready for camera to shoot at any moment it needs? Thanks.
