Aloha Canon_user808, I also live Makiki. Maybe we live right next each other. I saw those bikini pictures, were they from the car show just about a week ago. I went to car show too but I was only took pictures on the cars at the early in the morning.

Neat stuff !!! I like everything that says Canon on it, or anything else related to photography.... even N***n. Actually, one of my lenses is sitting in a Nikon SB24 leather bag. Please don't stone me :D

I've used a Nikon camera before. It was film of course and it wasn't that bad at all. I'd probably be using a Nikon if Canon didn't exist...Or if Canon bought Nikon. :)

I tried to take pics of cars that night but it was just way too crowded. My shortest lens is my 24-70 and I still had my DRebel. 39mm isnt that short. People would be walking in front of me, not even knowing im there. I just gave up and shot girls. :D Anyway, I'm at the eva end of Wilder. You?

My wife has one of those big embroidery machines with 6 needles that cost more than the 1Ds and she keeps wanting to embroidery camera stuff on my shirts, jackets, t-shirts, cases and bags and hats. :lol: I finally gave in and let her make me a hat with my "Sit'n Pretty Photo" name on it. She's taken over my Waco tablet too as it helps her work with the images she digitizes for her embroidery machine. She can't understand why I call her machine my "Mark II" though. :lol: Maybe I should get her to do some Canon stuff.

Unfortunately, I'm sure there is a trade mark or copyright problem with doing red lines in there somewhere. I'd hate to have the Canon police come and give me "L". :lol:

Timmyquest - I have that book and it gives a 2-page-per lens description and examples of all current (at the time of pulication) Canon lenses. Some entries have 2/3 lenses (if they are zooms and cover the same focal length). It covers all the lens accessories as well and has a detailed account of the Canon lens technology.

Certain pages of mine are stained with drool from my mouth when I read about the more 'exotic' lenses - but overall it's an excellent book.

Is this your wife's business? or just a hobby? We are in the process of pricing embroidery services to have our logo placed on shirts, vests, and jackets.

If you think she might be interested, drop me a PM and our wives can discuss the details (I don't have a freakin' clue when it comes to this stuff). I'd rather give the business to another forum member if the cost is competitive and she does good work.
