Dear friends, I love to shoot soccer. I have only 4 matches shot till now. Still learning. Here are some of my latest favorite shots, with all the info you need about them. I would love to hear some comments and help, especially from some sport shooters out there. Thanks.

All shot with EOS 300D and 75-300mm 4,5-5,6 lens

I like shots 1-3. The timing is excellent. These are good pictures.

My advice would be to crop tighter in camera or crop the image down more agressively when post-processing. This would eliminate some of the distracting background elements.

Also, use the widest aperture available to you - one of the shots is at f/7.1 - I would suggest this gives too much DOF.

Shots 2 and 3 seem to me to be focused slightly behind the subject matter although this may be a result of the high compression used to post the pics here.

Shot 4 doesn't do a lot for me sadly - but, of course, may be of interest to the kids' parents.

What lens was Gu useing ??? i see its one of those nice white ones but man i think i need to save some money to get one
