Had to shoot this kid and his Nissan 350Z for the "Cars" page in our yearbook.

Strobist: 430EX sitting on the dash at 1/8th power (I think).
In retrospect, I realize that I really should have gelled that strobe sitting on the dash, but whatever -- that's why we shoot so much: to learn from our mistakes!

sweet looking car! it sucks u can see the dirty on the windshield from the blades :/
Where was my sweet car at that age??? I had an old beat up '97 nissan altima...that I ended up totaling...:confused:

sweet shot, how was the flash triggered? pocket wizards? or did he just set it off himself cause of the long exposure?

I really should have gelled that strobe It would have helped, but it's a good effort overall.
Got PS? You can level out the exposure using a selection & a Layer mask. See post #9; PS Elements in Post # 14

that parking lamp is really bright....i would have turned that off...it prolly would have let you better expose the car if you played with the given street lights around......

or even two exposures, one with the parking light on and one with it off then merge the two to allow you to get the best of both pictures
