see..u can see how hard it is for me now to get all the pics i get?most of them dont want to be held or shot unless u handle them from young..my giant asian i had from baby and handled her every day..shes a natrula in front of camara so much so u can focus stack with her while she laps it up..but most dont want to know and hurry off.i have 8 difremt mantids that for the last 4 weeks i been trying to shoot them past 2:1..i give up..its pointless. The only time they stop is cleaning there selfs or eating..1 thing u can try tho that works is making sure its had so much food its turning it down.it doensnt want any more food cause its so fat:lol: then there bit eaiser to shoot.

Yup - my experience is that Mantids are generally very unco-operative when it comes to getting shots of them, I find that they forever either run away, or sway back and forth.

a wild dog - a captive dog..the difference is staggering right?same with mantids..if u have them as pets from nymphs they can be kind and cooperative.

they do...my giant Asian does..but if u buy a mantid form a breeder and more than likely its been in small tank with out being touched there bound to be freaked out..u tame them they do..
