shutter for a 10D

just out of interest - what does it cost to get a new shutter put in to a 10D when/if the original shutter dies? Has anyone here done this? Despite the occasional thread, I'm not too worried - yet. Only had my utterly wonderful 10D since July (already 2500 clicks) But I'd like to know a)that I can get it replaced if it goes b)ballpark figure for the cost

That would be interesting to know. I think you have a long way to go before shutter failure (hopefully). I'm just about to turn 15,000 in a couple hundred more shots (Since June 2003). I think my 28-135IS is showing some ware though. I can see where L lens would pay for itself in build quality in the long run.
