More from the GBH BIF files

[HWP]

I recently downloaded a trial version of PE6 and I know that with it I can now adjust background level, blur, etc.. independent of the subject. I was thinking this could be a candidate to lighten the background but leave the bird alone.
Any thougts on that?

This is one from last Wed. when I got 13 frames of this flight. Thanks for looking. This is full frame, no crop at all. EXIF intact.

I think it's great the way it is. If you are talking about a blur of the backround to make the focus more on the bird, sure. I still don't think you need it, but it may produce several different (moods) of the same photo.

I wouldnt change the b/g lighting, blur would be ok, but the lighting is great as is.well done!

I'm glad to hear that.. Sometimes I just look at some photo's too long and think too much :) I'm more of a purist and would rather not do major altering of a photo.. I'm also lazy and it's alot of work!!:)

Very nice image Henry.
Colors are perfect, although I think you might have a tad bit too much space to the right, I caught my eye wandering a bit and not paying too much attention to the Heron.

Thank you Allen. Glad you took the time to have a look and comment. This shot is full frame but I'll try to crop some off of the right and see how it looks. I appreciate the suggestion.
