Ray(MDoc) was kind enough to allow me to run his excellent Eagle shot through Adobe Lightroom. I was mainly trying to bring out more detail in the shadows and to preserve detail in the highlights. I've been impressed with this software in it's abilty to bring out detail that seemed lost in the original file. I'm posting this with Ray's permission and applaud Ray once again for a shot very well taken.

After Lightroom adjustment using "Fill Light" and "Recovery"(highlights) sliders as well as saturation and minor sharpenning.

It really brought out the detail in the head and shoulders didn't it? Nice.

Thanks Gary, Anke and Henry for your kind comments. The processing redo was easy, Ray took care of the tough part.

Made a big difference, the catchlight in the eye really makes a difference. Great job Steve on the pp and Ray on the capture.:D

Two great shots and nice edit Steve. I'm wondering if returning the branch to its 'original' status may help as the increased saturation (especially the greens on the lower left) seem to compete for attention with the eagle.....but the eagle clearly wins :)
