Going toward the light!!

I'm snow bound for a while so I thought I'd post another.

Nice shot Henry. It is almost like a dream that I had a few nights ago which I intend to do on a wood turned vessel.

In my dream, I was seeing a heron with the head pulled back even more, and with the wings turned down more at the last joint. This would be carved on the surface of a large turned hollow flattened sphere which would be defined by the shape of the wings. the head and beak would be part of the lid.

Do any of you have a shot that you may be willing to share that would help me get the details pretty accurate? Thanks K

Dont say that too loud Ira, the weather patterns are changing drastically, this is looking like the first winter in quite a few years where we well have lots of snow, 20-25 cm's coming tonight. Just dont jinx the weather down there before I have a chance to come down for a shoot! :D

I'm very happy with this lens and TC combo. There are many others on this forum with the same setup doing some great stuff.

Thank you Tony. It was at a relatively small lake, not too far from my house, with lots of wildlife. I was standing on a small point of land and the GBH came flying right at me at about eye level. A rare occurance for me..
