Which popular Irish bands from the eighties do you know?

I am trying to find a song that I don't remember the name of or which band. All I am sure of is that it is an Irish band and I am 99% sure it is not U2.

Nope not necesary. In fact I just found out which band I was looking for (or actually 3Turner gave me the link (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpost.php?p=4515660&postcount=5557) that lead me to remember). Simple Minds.

But then lets hear which Irish band of the eighties are your favorite.

So let me get this straight. Somebody gave you a link to some Irish Bands. You searched through it and found the song you were looking for. But the song was actually done by a Scottish band? :confused: ??? :confused:

Reminds me of a time when I got lost going to a friends house. I was so lost that I decided to head for a place that I was familiar with so that I could start looking for my friends place from there. But, guess what? I got lost looking for the familiar place and ended up where my friend actually lived. :lol: :)
