I am new to Canon G series and this forum. Just received my new G6 and would like to know if my Quantaray QTB-7500A flash can be used with the G6, if I get the proper module. I currently have the MLiAF module for my Maxxum 5000i which I understand won't work with the G6. Thanks.

In case anyone else is interested, I'll reply to my own post. I have since learned that the QTB-7500A will not work with a digital camera. There is a new Quantaray flash and module for Canon digital cameras.

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the update. See? This was only your second post, and you're already making a contribution here. :D

Yep. I found out after playing with my new Rebel XT, that my Quantaray QTB-7500A won't work with my camera.

I was hoping to find a module that would work, but no luck so far. At least I can still use it with my ELAN II. Guess I'll be buying another flash.

Isn't it irritating?
