Please help!!! Question about connecting to computer..

Hey all.. I have recently reformated my hardrive and went to hook up my canon ZR 450(i think) to my computer via FireWire cable. and it isnt recognizing my camecorder. I dont have my disk anymore but I called up tech support and they said it should be the disk i need it should just go through. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you think maybe it's a ZR-45MC?? If so, you can download drivers from this website:
