Another New York City shooting venue. This is from my son's
apartment on Moving-in Day, which also happened to be the Labor Day
holiday here.
I hope you like, but I guess I'll find out soon enough. Thanks for you comments and even your silence.

Personally, I think the lighting is a little dull and the subject is too...centered for my taste.

Also...distortion?

I'm not quite sure what vibe you're going for...

It's just too simplistic for my tastes, but I'm sure others will disagree with me. I'm a landscape/nature type.

The only thing that sticks out to me as wrong is the little black item on one of the middle shelves grabbed my attention really quick and took away from what I think you were trying to do.

It doesn't quite line up either.

However, I do think the blue came out wonderfully and think you need to post more shots :D

Edit: Agree with disortion? Ronin said.

The picture says "shelves", but I don't think it will win any interior decorator design awards. :)

Heh, heh. And I specifically intended this photo for the awe and wonder
of the Ivana Trump set among us... Oh, well.

Some times one can find art in simplicity, darwin, but I realize I'm stretching it here. I tried cloning that piece of dirt out of the picture-to no avail, and I think the entire bookcase or whatever it's supposed to be, is out of
square, so I just left it to stand on its own merits. The blue is the result
of auto-levels, which really made it look brighter than it is in the raw file.

As to what I'm going for here? Why--Andy Warhol, of course.

Thanks for your responses. I appreciate them.

:) Have to admit, Radtech: it looks much better now.

No offense meant here Rick, but Radtech1 has made a major improvement by enhancing the "hidden' details in your shelf photo.

I never saw those cameras and lenses in the first photo. Maybe they were lost in the conversion from RAW. :D Excellent photo restoration Radtech1!

Rick,
Now that you mention it, I see the "Andy Warhol-esque" quality in your original photo. Your photo does the same thing for me that a Warhol painting does. In that respect, the photo is a success. :)
