I managed to get a few shots of a Whooping Crane at Hiwassee Refuge today. It was about two hundred yards away, so there not as detailed as I would like.

Hiwassee refuge is located on Chickamuaga lake in Southeast Tennessee. It's a major layover for the Eastern Sandhill migration and the newly reintroduced eastern flock of Whooping Cranes. Check out www.operationmigration.org (http://www.operationmigration.org)
