I am new to digital photography and just got a Canon S3 IS. I am having difficulty understanding how the LA-DC58E lens adapter goes on the camera. If anyone can give me quick instuctions it would be appreciated, Thanks.

Press the Ring Release Button (#8 in the diagram on p. 12 of the Advanced Camera User Guide). Turn the ring counter-clockwise (as you look at the front of the camera) until the dots line up, as described on p. 141 of the ACUG. Then pull it off. Reverse the process to attach the lens adapter.

Man, Jon is on the ball...He even included manual page references.
How do you know such detail about so many cameras Jon? You're like the great, powerful OZ of cameras.
