i saw a lot of high key photography...
can any one tell me more info about it to get me started...
is it just in portrait?
is it a lighting setup then some PP???

high key photography is simply overexposing your shot. just meter for you shot til you get the correct exposure and then open up 2 or 3 stops to overexpose in manual mode. you can also use a high iso like 1600 to get that grainy effect which looks good using high key photography.

The two shots in this post were taken at the same time with the same settings. PS provided this "high-key" effect.

Here's an example from film. It was Kodak 2745, a very high speed emulsion with great grain:
