New PC - What Spec Please?

I need to build a new pc, as it's been a couple of years since my last m/c what would you recommend? Applications I will be using are DPP, Lightroom, CS2/3, RSP etc all the usual post pro software.

Processor Pentium/Athlon, Chipset, Motherboard and Graphics card any recommendations. All I would say is I will not be running Vista.

My PC is also a couple years old, however I recently upped the RAM to 2gigs... which helped speed up PS. I would recomment at least that if not more.

If photo work is the hardest you'll run it: Core 2 Duo with 4 mb L2 cache (fsb will be plenty fast), 2 gigs RAM minimum and an x3100-equivalent or better video system should do you just fine, 750 gig HD, USB2, etc... The Santa Rosa chipset is really nice.
