Some more pics taken with the 300D and 18-55mm kit lens - what d'ya think? First time I've really thought about getting b&w pics...

Ali,

While your first photo doesn't seem to have any technical issues, it doesn't "say" anything. No message. Not much interest.

Your second photo is much better. Nice composition and no technical issues that I notice. It looks like a passageway in a maze. Interesting subject. Nice photograph.
