Please Help! (on correct Board)
When Deleting photos from folders- the program would hang! So, I decided to create a deleted folder and then I could periodically delete on mass! (good plan huh!) now I have a huge folder of images I don't want and I cannot delete them. I tried to delete through explorer and now I have a folder full of thumbnails that the Canon doesn't seem to know are there! As a result I can't backup anything!!! Have tried removing complete folder and it will not go! Can anyone think of a fix please?

I am having difficulty understanding your situation. But I do wish to caution you about Zoombrowser though. If you decide to delete anything directly from within Zoombrowser, you may sometimes accidentally delete files which you want to keep. There is a huge difference between "Deregister" and "Delete". Once, I moved some files from (A) to (B) via Explorer. Zoombrowser, upon refreshing (A), informed me that the moved files were missing and if I would like them to be deleted from the directory. I thought, ok... next thing I knew I lost those files completely even though they were in (B). There weren't even in the recycle bin.
I have learnt since then to always say "No!" to any "Would you like to delete..." questions from Zoombrowser. These days what I do is to deregister the directory from Zoombrowser, then go to Explorer and do the deletion. This way I have complete control over what I am doing (I don't do booze anyway!). Caution: Deregistration of a directory in Zoombrowser entails losing all EXIF data as well, and deleted information cannot be retrieved at the recycle bin.
Another tip: You always need to have at least one registered directory on Zoombrowser. I always have two, namely Download1 and Download2. New files get from the G2 directly into Download1 where they are converted CRW-->TIFF. Then I go out and move the CRW and TIFF from Download1 to any other directory besides Download2. Then I return to Zoombrowser and deregister Download1, leaving only Download2. I do not refresh Download1 because the "Would you like to delete..." question pops up which scares the living daylights out of me. Then simply re-register the new and empty Download1 and go out for another shooting session!
I don't know if I have helped one bit, but if you were to reword your situation, maybe I could help better. Or even the experts in here could help better. Cheers.
PS. Always say "NO!"
