Disaster - please help me recover my photos !!!

I am desparate to retrieve a whole load of recently deleted images on my Canon A70.

The card has not been reformatted and no other pix have been taken since.

I've tried a variety of photo rescue software but the Canon never shows up as a drive / device to be scanned.

It is listed in Windows Explorer however.

Can anyone come to my rescue ?

You might need to load it into card reader, I believe the camera limits what access you have to the CF card.

Once you've done that something like Norton or any similar recovery program should have no trouble getting them back as it will be recognised as another drive.

Hi,

Here in Finland they do that recoveryjob also in some camerashops. In one shop price was about 6 €.

you can just buy the card reader form wal mart and return it. thats what i did
