I bought the S60 2 weeks ago and have taken pics successfully. Problem comes when I connect it to my xp computer - running xp professional with loads of spare capacity.

I've run the Canon digital solutions disk and connected the camera and the driver has been successfully installed. After 5 mins, it eventually comes up with the standard windows screen to select a program to transfer images from the camera - except that no programs are listed (not even the standard windows application).

The camera is shown as connected on My Computer - but when i select Explore, it shows no files.

i've tried to unistall and reinstal, used different user accounts on the pc - same results each time. I've disconnected all other usb connections.

Can anyone help please?

I only access mine though My Computer, and sometimes have to refreash the page to get any images to show.

Like you, I also had issues with the canon software, either it wouldn't work, or was very very slow.

Try double clicking the camera, then refreashing the window.

Try a different memory card- formatted in the camera. It sounds like the required folder structure may be missing from your CF card.

Guys

Thanks for the suggestions but....

...uninstalled canon software and still the same issue.

Used a different memory card and i get the error message that the camera is already in use.

Any other thoughts?
