Anyone else hate waiting for your packages to be delivered. I sit around the house all day (when I have plenty of things to do) waiting for FedEx, UPS, etc. It seems as though every time I have something coming, the Drop-off time gets later and later each time. I mean OK, I was told that my package today should be here by 3pm. I highly doubt that since I have never received anything until after 5pm EVERY single time I am awaiting something. Of course everything I order has to have a Signature upon delivery so I cannot leave and come back to a door tag saying a second delivery attempt will be made on the next business day. Hopefully today they will arrive ahead of schedule, but I am dreaming...anyone else like this?

One must learn patience, Grasshopper!
This is one area where I have an advantage. I'm retired, so I'm at home anyway.
I know you don't want to hear this, but I ordered a monitor from Dell, and it was delivered two days before the scheduled delivery date, by DHL even.
See? Miracles CAN happen!

FedEx usually hits my house with packages (literally) early in the AM. I saw him running away from my back porch at 5:30AM once.
Oh and yes, I did yell out after him "Dude, you're nuts!"

There is this little festival, held annually across the Planet that causes mass disruptions in shipping. It's been known to wreak havoc with UPS, DHl, and Fedex schedules and is commonly known as their "busy time" or "season".
Apparently the gentiles refer to this pagan ritual as Christmas. Have you heard of it?

well I work a powershift from 4-12 today. I mean it's not like im expecting an L today or anything like that, It's a gift for my dad, but I would still like to take it and get it all ready and activated while I am sitting in a parking lot "watching and running Radar on traffic" or "doing a report" or some of the other stuff I act like I do when I sit in a parking lot. Its rainy, I don't like working in the rain...So it's already a bad day and it's yet to start! I hate accident reports.
**EDIT** just hope it starts off better than one of my days earlier this year! http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee264/DennisPatrick1987/05-19-07_1458.jpg

The Fedex shipment of my MKIII from the Virginia fix-it shop was due this past Monday on a 2-day shipment. Guess who shows up last Saturday!
I love Fedex! :D

I saw a fed-ex truck for the first time in a long time while I was driving today. I said "OH HEY! There they are!" in reference to this thread. It was great.

Yea, well here I am, like I said sitting in the Library Parking lot HA...I found a spot that I can park where WiFi will reach my cruiser. I stalked my neighborhood at around 7pm and Saw a Fedex truck In the area and sure enough, I blocked off my street so he couldn't get out and asked if he left a doortag or just dropped the package off...almost missed him. Anyways, Back to work boys and gals....
