Hi, I use photoshop to edit my photos. I primarily use Levels and USM. If I shoot in RAW and use DPP will I still have do levels and usm in photoshop? Thanks for the info. Joe

Joe,
I have found that DPP does a very nice job in sharpening.Esp when you sharpen the jpeg.Levels i guess depends on how well you adjust the exposure and your histogram in DPP

I would be doing any levels adjustments at the raw stage (in DPP for instance) but I tend to do sharpening in Photoshop, and this will depend on a lot of factors such as the size of the final image and whether it's for web or print use.

WELCOME to the forums :-) (both of you!)

You are able to do all your global luminance and colour balance adjustments in DPP or ACR. DPP is very good but I would use ACR for a fully integrated workflow with the rest of Photoshop.

Like Kevin I do my sharpening in Photoshop, in my case using masked layers.
