Some flashes - especially older ones - can fry your sensible camera, so it's always important to check.

According to the table, the flash should be safe for your camera ... but the measuring was done by someone else, and you'll have to take his word for it.

Don't know how old the flash is, but maybe you'll be able to get some additional info from Sunpak.
