So I bought a Abr800 with the wireless module, it works fine with my camera.
and I just bought a L-358 sekonic with the radio transmitter, I know that the dip switch on my ABR800 is 123 = down, so it's channel 6, but when I set my sekonic to channel 6 and press the test button, it wouldn't flash my my ABR-800, can anyone please give me a hand?
really appreciate any help that can be provided. thanks!

The radio transmitter for the L-358 is exclusively for use with PocketWizard radio slaves. All other radio slave systems work on different radio frequencies and/or different digital coding systems.

Any Pocket Wizard with receiver capability will do but if you're buying brand new, then it would be the PW Plus II.

The cheapest available option now is the Pocket Wizard Plus II. Youll need one on the camera, and one on each flash. They are about $190 a piece. Without having Pocket Wizards on the strobes that radio transmitter unit you bought for the light meter wont do anything. Fun huh? ;)

If the radio transmitter unit you bought is the AB unit just buy another transmitter and use it to manually trip the flash. Your meter will accommodate that method quite easily and the cost will be about $40 instead of $380 for PWs.

I totally agree.
I cant see that firing the units from the L-358 has much benefit over a separate transmitter.
