This is my first post to this forum, along with my first go at motorsports photography. I shot several hunded shots yesterday and thought this one came out quite nicely. I would've liked to see a little more light and shadow on the underside of the bike but the sun was on the other side. I think the shot came out too dark unfortunately. The riders visor is also dark, I would've liked to have seen his expression. I'm looking for feedback though!!!. The only modifications I made were resizing the image from RAW with PSP.

Here's the EXIF header information.

It is great -- and you have to live with the dull weather and asphalt track.

ANothet member posted some 2-man cycle shots at a dirt track. Ceck them out as the venue offered more opportunity.

Well done. Perhaps a bit light in terms of showing us exciting action at the track

Thanks for the feedback!! This was shot at a track day, not a race so unfortunately the riders were fairly sparse on the track. I agree though, it would be nice to see multiple bikes to give the impression of racing. That has given me an idea too, if I could shoot from the ground up I would probably get shots that give a better sense of speed as well.

I will hunt around for the shots at the dirt track and take a look.

P.S. Yes, Seattle affords us 'sun breaks' only every so often!!!
