Back in the early 70's I was offered a full college scholarship to be the school’s photographer. After college came marriage, family, a different set of rules, but no photography. I worked 27 years in a governmental organization (very limited photography) and was able to retire at age 54 in good health.
Now that the kids have moved out and I have plenty of free time, I got a DSLR and got back into my old hobby. I called the university and received a media pass for all sporting events. That was last year. This year the university called and offered me a small contract to be their sports photographer. I’m having a ball AND covering my expenses.:D
