View Full Version : My Glamour & Nude Button Has Gone Blue Prematurely!

I have just noticed that the button next to the Glamour & Nude section in my browser window has gone blue, which I presume means I am now allowed to post in there.

It is still over three weeks until I have been a member for three months, so has something gone wrong, or have I been specially honoured? :lol:

It's supposed to be over 500 posts AND minimum three months as a member, or at least that's what it says in the rules section!

No, I didn't request access. :-)

Anyway, I'm very pleased with my new blue button because it matches all the others down the side of the forum, making it fully OCD-compliant, which is a good thing.

I wonder if you have actually tried posting ? Because when I look at your account you still do not have posting permissions in G&N.

I've still got a blue button. I haven't tried posting, but I did check to see if I got a reply box when I clicked on reply in a thread and I got one.

I'll just try to post and see what happens.

Yes, it worked! :-D I had to look for quite a while to find something that I could genuinely comment on, rather than post in someone's thread for the sake of it! :lol:

So, am I allowed to post in there, or shall I wait until I'm officially allowed to? To be honest I don't go in there very often, but sometimes I have a nose around and see something that I would like to comment on.

I have never considered visiting the nude forum. I'm lucky enough to have a wife so I don't have a lack in my life to supplament by looking at mere pictures :p

Don't be so sure, cdifoto. Who is this wife of which Mike speaks? Have you seen her? It's amazing what one can do with PS these days ... you can practically create a whole family out of a few mere pixels. If he had one, he'd surely post it to the "post G/N of your wife" thread with his fancy blue button. ;)

Yeah. He is a little off the pace. Permagrin (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/member.php?u=70018) has been averaging about 1500 per month.

TopGear, David & Jon, I was a bit concerned about my forum addiction until I saw another user who was averaging over 26 messages per day! The posts tend to mount up if you make comments on people's photos in those sections. I like to join in here. It's a shame when you see people post photos and no one bothers to comment.
