Hi
I would enjoy your honest critique on this photo I took.

Thank you!

Thats amazing! Just like the other one!

Tell me, do you pay the Swans to pose like that?

IMHO, WOW!!!

Very, very impressive. I love the color coming through the wings. The only thing that would have been even more impressive would be to have this swan on its own, but you would probably have had to pay the others quite a bit to leave this beautiful scene. :)

Omigosh!!

I'm certainly no critic, but this is absolutely gorgeous!

Personally, I like how the sun plays through the feathers of the swans going off to the right. It draws my eye to the one with his wings spread and creates a second "WOW."

Truly inspiring. Thank you for sharing.

Ok, great shot, light and mood. But this is the critique corner, and here's my two cents.... While you may have hired these wild beasts to pose for you, I would have a long talk with the two subjects to the right; yes, the ones with no clue about their artistic appearance, and let's not talk about timing! One of them seems to have his head up his.. wing!

Thank you JCK for your critique. I do agree that the birds on the right were not 'playing along' very well, however, I'm not too troubled by that (nor feel they take much away from the photo) because the impact of the image comes mainly from the overall lighting and the how the light comes through the wings of the foreground bird and background bird.

Thank you

Martin Paul.

shots like this should go in the share photos section as you can't possibly offer critique with a straight face :P
however, I can't stop wondering how it would have looked if you had that flapping bird in the background, as the main subject
absolutely stunning picture.
