interesting? i think my lens has a soft spot or something because the wide ladder corner is soft but everyhting else is relatively sharp.

I don't see the softness you're talking about. I looked at the shot for a while before I saw the person on the bicycle.

It's a good shot, but it's a little hard (at least for me) to tell what's going on. The rider gets lost in the scene, especially for a B&W shot.

the rider is dark, but i can't imagine it being that hard to see if you follow the path of the wood beams or the two larger trees in the center :S
that's what i hoped for anyway.
