how to smooth

my first try at portrature, what to do now , i know it's a little fuzzy. should i skin smooth it(don't know how)????

In spite of the fact that it's a little tight, the composition and pose are intriquing and the lighting is very good.

The chin is skating on thin ice though. If it were only a few percent zoomed out the chin would be considered as just kissing the frame.

You would be safer in placing the chin clearly IN the frame or clearly OUT of the frame. Don't let anything become a point of tension that distracts from the areas of interest.
