Didnt have a lot of free time this weekend, but I did get out a bit.

#1 Bluejay taken with 400 f/5.6 + canon 1.4X II, handheld. I know hes a bit hidden, but I wanted to show what this combination can do in decent light.

Trevor, love that last goldfinch shot for the detail and bg. Are you shooting manual focus, with that combo on an XT, or are you using the "taped pins trick"?

Thanks for cmmenting everyone. I havent bothered to tape the pins, hasnt been a bright enough day for trying the AF so Manual focus. The TC was only used in the Jay shot. Thanks again! Happy holidays.!
