Hi
What do you think of this shot? It took me about 15mins to get the final result in Photoshop.
Thank you
Martin Paul.

I think the shoot looks good, but the blue tear is a bit scarry.
it makes the kid look like it could be an alien or something

Thanks,
Here is a pure B/W version to compare.
Martin.

Since human tears are clear, the blue tear is just freaky....
I like the black and white better. Maybe a hint of sepia to warm it up a smidge, to warm it up a bit.

I like the blue tear version; it's abstract, and the lighting and framing is great IMO. I like this picture

I like both versions - I'd perhaps go for a blue eye but with a clear tear. Overall a great shot though

Why not make the eye blue and the tear clear???

Very nice shot. I too like the black and white myself but do like the creativity of the blue one.

The blue of the eye seems to be unnatural as the blue tint in the tear. Might want to rethink the darker side of the pic - crop more of it, or lighten it up because as is its a difficult area of the photo.

Um... Those kind of PS work appealed to me once... heck I even did some too. Now, I find it corny, pathetic and a cliche-like. It's like a joke that is good for maybe three times within a longer period of time, if you hear it once a day, you're goona learn to start hating it. No offense I know exactly what you were trying to do and you did that good, but I think this is the way that is best to be avoided..
