Nothing spectacular by any means, but here they are anyway!
The first one is my favorite, I'm happy with how the focus and everything came out. I was really close for this shot and upset the wasp I guess, it took off and buzzed around me. The message came through very clearly, I left it alone!
All taken with 300d and Canon 100 2.8 Macro lens.

You sure don't need any more help on that lens, Wow, Ok put it down, you learned how to use it, go and get another one and learn that one :D :D

WOW! Great macros, but I've never seen Wasp's this dark before. :shock: Are these a different species of Wasp to the Yellow ones I'm used to seeing?

You sure don't need any more help on that lens, Wow, Ok put it down, you learned how to use it, go and get another one and learn that one :D :D

Haha!! Thanks a LOT for the help earlier. I found shooting mostly at f10 with this lens, especially on the tripod (even while using it as a modified monopod) really helped out quite a bit. Just part of the learning curve!

Thanks a lot! I guess they are a different species (ok, I'm totally ignorant about them really!). These and even darker ones are what I normally see, so I guess they are different than the yellow ones you mentioned.
