What is a practical example of using the Spot AE Point Center setting vs. the Spot AE Point AF Point menu setting? (page 83 of the manual)

I can't tell any difference between the two settings

With the Center Spot AE Point metering, the camera will meter the center of the frame, while it will meter the spot where the camera is auto-focusing when you use the AF Point Spot AE Point metering.
