Lacks interest as there is to much of the same colour plus its not sharp enough for this type of picture.

Great capture of a cultural slice that most of us would probably pass by thinking it lacking color or perhaps a center of interest. Which would be wrong since the entirety of this image is a capture of a piece of Colombian life that is tellingly more interesting than say a snap of another Andean vista. I note particularly how middle class the two guys in the foreground appear... they could be walking down the dock from their yacht in any marina in the world.

It makes me wonder about so much. Do you think they started this building from the top and worked down? Or the bottom and upward? Was this begun in the 50s after some economic boomlet? Earlier? Later? Note the lack of litter. Look, it's on the bus route, these are hard working people.

It is a terrific capture, thanks a lot for sharing this peek into a slice of Colombian culture I'll never see in person. It so loaded with interesting niches that it deserves to be studied.

You were great to share it, more please!

Ted wow! Thank you for the very kind critique. You summed up very eloquently exactly what I was trying to accomplish with the photo.

Exactly what Ted said (TByrne)... and anywhere that the people hang out their laundry is my kind of place- city or country- clothes on the line interest me:)
