Went to Downtown Bethlehem on Christmas eve for some night shots of the Christmas City. Here are two of them:

Were you using a tripod? They seem kind of blurry or slightly OF to me

Yes I did use a tripod, but did not use a release cable, so the blur may have been cause by hitting the shutter button

Tom, if you don't have a release cable, you can lock up the mirror first (MLU) then use the self timer to fire the camera. This wil eliminate the shake caused by triggering the camera the usual way.
