I've been curious about this for a while...
Consider the list below. How many of these things can you do without removing your eye from the viewfinder?
Each line counts as one point.
Considering settings that aren't shown in the viewfinder (like ISO dammit!) you must *know* what you're changing it to. Don't take a point because you can change ISO, take a point because you can change ISO from 100 to 400 to 200 and know what you're at.
Change aperture or shutter speed
Change between Av Priority, Tv Priority, and Manual
Change ISO
Change Drive Mode
Change Metering mode
Change Auto Focus Mode
Change AF focus points
Change Flash Exposure Compensation
Enable/disable Flash
Use Depth of Preview button
Enable/disable AF on Lens
Adjust mono/tripod using it's controls (tilting a monopod doesn't count!)
Again, take a point for each line above, and vote.
Have any of you ever practiced chaging these things? Or do you just learn it as you go?
