Will this be the beginning of the end of those huge long focal lenses?
How about a 70-800@f/2.8 at the size of today's 50/1.8?

Agreed. An EF 70-800mm f/2.8L IS USM CD AG AT (CD = Cloaking Device, AG = Anti-Gravity, AT = Auto-Tracking) would be the perfect BIF lens. Might not be so convenient if someone behind you had one as you were getting on a bus, though. :shock: :lol:
