NYC: so much to shoot, so little time

I was in NYC this past weekend, had a blast. Such a huge city. I can't wait to go back. Here are a few pics from all over:

#1 I like but I would have got down more. But I like the idea. It's like "where the heck is that kid?"
#2 looks unlevel. I wish you could see more of the sky. All I see is white.
#3 Is my favorite. I come across shots in my line of work like this a lot. But again I wish the sky had something to say
The subway, hmmmm yes. Numbers. I would put this somewhere it would make people think. China Town, the lighting is perfect. I like the contrast that I see. Maybe brought it over a little more to get rid of that step.
The meal looked like it was good.

i wish i could do something about the sky. but it was overcast all 4 days i was there. except for about 2 hours. perhaps i could photoshop in some blue sky? would that help the pictures?

Don't bother photoshoping a blue sky in the pictures. You'll risk creating some very unrealistic images. Plus it would be very time consuming making it right.

TexKen, the graffiti pic was taken with available light. I just did a small curves adjustment.

Like the shots , The Chinatown grafitti is my favourite, never been to NYC but I may go this year on an organised photo course.
