Hi folks,

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 226BW, which I adore, but I'm very much aware that it is not calibration. I'm at home at the moment and this fact has hit home, as I'm also hooked up to a second monitor that is calibrated (I use that term extremely loosely)... the difference is huge! I have CS3, but I can't find the Adobe Gamma file that's reportedly hidden away, and I certainly don't have the money to shell out for a dedicated calibration tool.

Help and/or suggestions, if you please! My need for a calibrated monitor is rising, and I'd be very grateful. :)

Hope everyone's enjoying their pressies (or just the wind-down of advertisements, if you're like me)!

Adobe doesn't offer AdobeGamma anymore IIRC, since most OSes have a similar 'eyeball calibration' built in. OSX does, and I think windows as well...

There are a few links to alternatives in the link from my sig. (Link to a post fro PhotosGuy)
