I’m just absolutely tired of this BS, I just hated seeing a great place like this bring the outside world's crap in here. I really love this place and it's been awesome posting and chatting with all of you. There are tons of great people here from all over the world. When I read replies in here to post and see everyone comments I find it so awesome that someone in India or Sweden or even in Iraq can post a comment and someone not get trashed cause of where the are from.
The net is an awesome place because you can meet people from the entire world and you know what, you don't look at a post and start judging the person. That's why places like this are so rare and awesome because we don't see one another and start hating. That's why I went off in that thread and why I didn't spell check and grammar check it cause I didn't really give a d**m, cause I came here and we didn't have that BS
sorry guys

Controlz,
never mind!
It still is a great forum, full of interesting information.
You just don't have to participate in all threads ... I mean, there are 19,127 registered users ... how realistic is it that you'll agree with all of them?
If you don't find a thread attractive or interesting ... just don't read it. There are so many other interesting and attractive threads, that you'll find enough worth discussing.
Just my 2 c (Euro)
Best regards,
Andy
PS: Many people (and I am not really an exception here) think that if a person has something to contribute, he or she should also take care that others are able to read it.
Investing a minute to check the spelling of a post makes it just easier for others to read and understand.
It's somehow similar to saying 'hello', 'please' and 'thank you' when talking to people ... y'know, that 'politeness' thing

I'm very sorry something has happened the post
I like you a lot and knew you never meant things said like it sounded
the things that went 'before ' you reacted is where the problem started
please don't worry about it now cOltrOlz as it's pointless
best to move on
you've said sorry
it's all you can do.
don't let it stop your postings........ ever
just take care.
all is ok

Controlz,.. and all..
...it is the effect that these errant political "discussions" has on the forum in it's whole that has forced the Mods to have such a firm hand in how those threads are treated.
The fact that a thread has pushed you to a point where you felt the need to offer a public apology is further evidence of the harm on the WHOLE FORUM that these threads can cause.
By making this post,.. You Sir.. are conscious enough of the damage that may have been caused that you took the time to make an effort to repair any damage ..
...and I applaud you for it.
Thanks Controlz.

I'm kinda happy that the post has gone.
For the most part people here are adults and can discuss things in a mature way, but political debates will always lead to some people losing their cool.
And lets be honest, this forum isn't a place for a political debate at all.
back to business :D

That's right!
People's diverging views on EF-S lenses should have enough dynamite in them
