What are the chances....?

I'm going to my first PPA Imaging USA conference in January and Canon will be there . What do you think the chances are of them leaking some info on the upcoming new releases? I'm hoping to find out about the new 5D (or whatever it will be called) and when it will be out. From your experience, will Canon leak anything early since this will be a large conference?

Rumor has it as past history has shown that a manufacturer often releases some tidbit of information regard one or more of its new cameras about a week before the PMA

Maybe I'm too trusting but the guy who owns my local camera store, not a chain and been in business a very long time, told me that that for a fact the new 5D successor will be announced in January. He's never steered me wrong, and, I was in there ready to purchase the 5D...cash in hand....and he told me to wait. I don't think he would have passed up a sale if he wasn't sure of his facts. Anyway, when I go to the Imaging USA show, jan.6th, I plan to make friends with the Canon booth and squeeze some info out!!! Hey, I can be tough....yeah, yeah, that don't call me Moon Mama for nothing! :lol:
