I'm so glad they got all the other clutter out of the way. The direct print button is the only feature I ever actually use. January sounds like the excuse I've been waiting for to upgrade to the 1series.

I just talked with my "source" and they said that it's a pre-release and they realize now that the button is still not big enough. They are going to increase it to fill the entire back for the final version.
He called it the, "Nose print button."

It's just you.
Down under, that is the normal way to print an icon of a toilet paper dispenser.
This time around, Canon have heard the cry in the wilderness - and addressed the needs of those of us below the equator.

maybe the blue dots are actually covering up a new super secret 5 point auto-print sensor system that senses when you are about to hit the print button... and automatically begins printing for you?

Yours only has 5 blue dots. You need to send it in to Canon to have the sub-spring assembly of The Button replaced.

Didn't you read the white paper? If you press The Button and the DOF button simultaneously, this new baby dispenses a healthy wad of soft, gentle-on-skin 3-ply toilet paper from the CF slot.

I tried it out on the 400D and the focus is too slow. The turbacharged motor from the 1D MkIII GTI is the only camera on the market which will let it focus a shedload quicker.
