Just ordered the Canon 70-200mm f/4 lens

Thanks to everyone for making the decision clear to me. Just ordered the 70-200mm, also added a Bower protective filter. Never heard of Bower before, I am new to photography. Can't wait to get this lens, should be here by the end of the week.

I purchased it off of Beach Camera - www.beachcamera.com - with s/h it came to $581.00 I would have gotten it from B&H, but I live in NY, thus the sales tax would have been a killer. There store is amazing, a photographers wonderland if you will. They have a cool system for getting items from their warehouse, like a conveyer (sp?) belt, but with baskets that hang from the ceiling. That didn't make any sense but it is a cool operation they have going on over there.
