i have photoshop 7.

its an old version and all the defaults are messed up.....

anyhow

i want to get a fresh copy of image editing software

can u please tell me, am i ok with getting the very latest elememts???

i just like to use crop, levels, curves and borders.....

not to fussed about all the other stuff....

I love lightroom. Can't do borders that I'm aware, though.

You can do all of that in Elements and much more!

i have photoshop 7. I'm using it & with a RAW processor, I see no reason to "upgrade". And, I've taught PSCS, too. and all the defaults are messed up..... Uninstall/reinstall.

I agree. Theres very little that PS7 cannot do. If you cannot reset it to its defaults in the menu , then uninstall/reinstall will fix it.

Crops/levels/curves and borders you already have. Why spend money for the sake of it?

Save all your actions, plugins, and scripts first, if you have any installed.

i just wanta fresh look / package i think and wanted to kjnow if elements is good overall (the new one number 6)

i go to do such a simple task

that is

rezise the image under "image" then "risize"

and then i go to "view origibnal pixels and nothing has changed??

the rezize doesnt work like it does


what could i be dojng wrong?

i know photopshop 7 well enough so cant work out what im doing worong on elements 6

i worked it out

had to click "resamle image"


under reduce image sizecan anyone tell me who has elements 6 ................
