If you were asked to change your avatar then please just do it. I do not want this forum to be an advertisement place for any candidate/party/ideology.

For another avatar idea, you could use a portrait of a now-deceased actor.

I was referring to a now-deceased actor that must have strayed off to Finland.

Get rid of that avatar. This site is not a political site. One thing is that You can discus politics in general chat but Your avatar is everywhere You post something. A political topic anybody can ship based on description but nobody can avoid Your avatar since it is not evident where it will popup.
So get rid of it.
Pekka, I kindly ask You to instruct Peguin_101_1 to remove the avatar if he does not do it voluntarely.

Hmm, I understand its not a political site. By no means am i a repub. but I think he could keep it? Its just he is proud of something, I think he should be allowed to show it? I mean, I'm sure people find my avatar a lil weird, but it just reflects my personality (goofy--not a mooning addict).
Its not offensive or anything like that, so i say its okay, its just I think people are sometimes TOO PC these days.

You forget that his political statment will be displayed along with the 9/11 photos in the share photos forum (if he has posted in any o those threads). I bet there will be people who lost families or friends in that event who could be offended by that.
The avartar should always stay non-political and non-controversial.
I am not from USA so I could care less about who wins the coming election but I think it is disrespectful to display political statements with photos related to 9/11 .
Besides
I do not want this forum to be an advertisement place for any candidate/party/ideology.
That should clear everything up!
