promaster memory card reader

My husband got me a promaster brand card reader. I haven't heard much about this brand and was wondering if this was a good brand, I would like a fast reliable reader.

should I keep it or take it back and get a better brand?

I saw SanDisk readers on sale before Christmas... probably better sales now. Don't hurt his feelings, but yeah, take it back.

Different USB2 card readers aren't going to be radically faster or slower; what you get for the money is quality materials and precision design; cards won't rattle around as much so there's less likely to be pin damage.
