View Full Version : Tiffen Filters Made in USA??????

I purchased a Tokina 12-24mm from a local guy and it came with a 77mm Tiffen Polarizer filter.

I noticed that the printing on the filter is different from the other Tiffens that I have seen. It says USA instead of the usual Japan like the other Tiffens. Could it be the wide-angle version? The guy that sold it to me doesnt know much about cameras and Tiffens dont have the model imprinted on the filter

Not too sure about that but I do know the Tiffen CPL I had got sold after the first outing with it. Filter wasn't multicoated and caused terrible flaring.
