My first kingfishers :) Hard to shoot with all the white and black, but i think i got it quite right. All c&c welcome!

OOOOOHHHHH, extremely jealous here Jan. You did awesome with preserving the whites. Do you have Adobe Lightroom or Apple's Aperture? The reason I ask is that the first shot is a serious knockout but could use a little shadow work to bring out some detail in those areas. Lightroom handles the shadows very well. Great job on these.

I'm looking at them from another pc and the do seem too black while on my other pc they seem ok, so i guess it's time to look for some calibration equipement if i can convince the misses. This have been post processed a bit ( contrast) to reduce the effect of the glass. (shot from a cabin window on a boat that hadn't been cleaned i a while) If i have some time, i'll try to rework them on a better calibrated pc... Thanks for the comments!
